Live on Whatnot

Vintage glass, live on Whatnot

This is where the fun happens (and where most of our glass sells). Tina holds every piece up to the camera, turns it around, calls out the flaws and puts the uranium under the UV light. Tom keeps the chat moving and the jokes coming. You ask, we answer, and you bid or buy in real time.

What's on the schedule

Our regular show · times vary

TnT Tuesday!

Our regular glass party. Fenton, uranium, Murano, Blenko and whatever came home from the hunt that week. The UV flashlight never leaves Tina's reach, and Tom never runs out of jokes.

Pop-up shows

Scans w/ Tina: Let's Make a Deal!

Tina scans the shelves live and you holler when something catches your eye. She brings it in close, and then? It's right there in the name: let's make a deal! (You'll also see these as "Glass Finds & Good Times.")

Special events

Raid Trains

Themed nights with fellow Whatnot glass sellers. Each show raids the next and the whole room rides along to the next stop. Think "Rocking Around the Glass & Glow" and "Flip That Glass."

How a live show works

Whatnot is a live-shopping app. A seller goes live, shows things on camera and sells them right there in the stream. You'll need a free Whatnot account to bid or buy, and payment goes through the app.

  1. Follow us

Follow @tntvintagefinds on Whatnot and turn on notifications. You'll get a ping when we go live.

  2. Pop into a show

Tina shows every piece up close and calls out the flaws. Tom runs the chat and the jokes. Uranium always gets the UV light.

  3. Bid or buy

Win it in a quick auction or snag it at a buy-it-now price. Want a closer look or a measurement first? Just ask.

  4. Packed & shipped

Wrapped piece by piece, padded like it's ours, and out the door in about 1 day on average.

Whatnot words you'll hear

  • Auctions

Each piece gets a short countdown. Tap to bid, and the top bid when the clock runs out wins. In a regular auction, a late bid can add a few seconds to the clock.

  • Sudden death

No extra time. When the clock hits zero, whoever's on top wins it, so don't wait for the last second.

  • Buy it now

Some pieces have a set price. Tap buy and it's yours, no bidding war required.

  • Givvys

Whatnot-speak for giveaways. When one is running, the host tells you how to enter.

  • Raids & raid trains

At the end of a show a host can "raid" another seller and send the whole room over. A raid train is a lineup of themed shows, one after another.

  • Ask for a closer look

Want to see the base, a mark, a measurement or the glow? Type it in the chat. That's what live is for.

Why come to ours

Good glass, honest calls, bad jokes

You see the flaws before you bid. Vintage glass has usually lived a life. If a piece has a flea bite, a chip, scratches or a worn pattern, Tina says so on camera. If you want a better look at the rim or the base, ask.

The glow reveal never gets old. Uranium, Vaseline and custard glass go under the UV light live, so you see the glow for yourself instead of trusting a filtered photo.

It's a hangout, not a sales pitch. Regulars chat, swap hunting stories and give Tom a hard time (he's earned it). Stop by just to watch and learn. Nobody minds, and you might leave knowing what manganese glass is.

Then we pack it like it's ours. Every piece is wrapped on its own and padded for the trip, and it usually ships in about 1 day.

"great folks, beautiful glass, fun shows & expert packing!!"
